As a part of the nationwide marketing campaign “Annadata Devo Bhava- Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari” Coconut Development Board had organized a nationwide consciousness marketing campaign on ‘Scientific coconut cultivation, processing & worth addition”, for the durations from 26th April to 1st May 2022, for the advantage of coconut farmers of the nation.












Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated this system on 26th April 2022 just about. Around 20000 coconut farmers participated in this system.

As a part of this system, a Centre of Excellence in Coconut and a Farmer Training cum- Administrative Buildings have been inaugurated in Dhali, Tiruppur District, Tamil Nadu, and Hichachara, South Tripura respectively. The Centre of Excellence in Coconut at Dhali is aimed toward demonstrating improved coconut cultivation applied sciences which is able to act as a serious supply/ provider of coconut planting materials throughout the nation in addition to expertise switch.












The institution of the Training Center for Coconut in Tripura is a landmark within the improvement of coconut cultivation, notably within the northeastern states.
