For the DBT-funded undertaking “Phytochemical characterization and nutrient profiling of germplasm diversity of Citrus species existing in the NorthEast region,” the Citrus Research Station, Assam Agricultural University, Tinsukia is accepting purposes from certified candidates for the place of Junior Research Fellow.

Required Qualification : MSc (Agri) / MSc in Horticulture / Biotechnology / Plant Pathology / Molecular Biology / Life Science

Desirable Candidate: Working expertise in a laboratory specialised to such disciplines might be given precedence.












Salary/Emoluments :

1. Rs. 31000/- + 8% HRA for the primary and second years, and Rs. 35000/- + 8% HRA for the third and fourth years. Applicable for candidates who’ve certified NET, GATE, BET, BINC, or every other nationwide degree examination performed by the Central Government and its businesses and organisations.

2. Rs. 25000/- + 8% HRA for others who don’t fall beneath above (1).

Selection Process

On the ninth of May 2022, from 10:30 AM onwards, a walk-in interview for the aforesaid place might be held on the Office of the Chief Scientist, Citrus Research Station, Assam Agricultural University, Tinsukia.
