Prapti Receiving ‘Best Poster Presentation Award’ at National Conference





Post Graduate pupil, Prapti Sudan from College of Fisheries (COF), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) received the ‘Best Poster Presentation Award’ on the 1st Indian Fisheries Outlook-2022 on “Priming Indian Fisheries in Attaining Sustainable Development Goals” held at ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CIFRI), Barrackpore.












The convention was collectively organized by ICAR-CIFRI, Professional Fisheries Graduate Forum (PFGF), Mumbai, and Inland Fisheries Society of India (IFSI), Barrackpore.

During her M.F.Sc., Prapti Sudan labored to isolate and determine Vibrio spp. with disease-causing talents from inland saline shrimp tradition farms of Punjab. She carried out her analysis work beneath the steering of Dr. Anuj Tyagi, Assistant Professor.

Prapti additionally studied the virulence genes and multi-drug resistance in Vibrio spp. in addition to the flexibility of bacteriophages to kill multi-drug resistant Vibrio spp.
